Downtown Host’s data center and network operations center are both located in a 46,000 square foot facility located in the heart of the Denver Technological Center. The data center uses Cisco Systems hardware and is equipped with multiply redundant feeds and carriers to ensure uninterrupted flow of data. The facility is equipped with N+1 and N=2 redundancy climate control, state-of-the-art fire detection and suppression systems, and is supplied with electrical power from several different regional providers and backed-up by two diesel generators connected to separate automatic transfer switches. The facility is also protected by video surveillance and access to server areas is controlled by both access card and biometric scanning systems. Downtown host provides a 99.9% uptime guarantee, and an on-line server monitor that allows clients to monitor the status of the servers at any time.
