MyHosting to Offer Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 for Hosted Exchange Email usersMyHosting, a web hosting provider, recently announced that they have made available Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 for its Hosted Exchange Email customers. As a result of this, MyHosting customers now have the option of using this latest Microsoft Software for Mac.

This is the first Outlook email client compatible with Mac computers since Outlook for Mac, which was released in 2001. For users of MyHosting, this new version of the Outlook for Mac replaces the existing versions of Entourage, while it is also fully compatible with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

As Celal Ulgen, the spokesperson of MyHosting said, “By deploying Outlook for Mac, Apple users can take advantage of improved user interface, PST support and an email platform that is similar to Microsoft Outlook 2010.”

The Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011 comes with a completely revamped user interface, as well as many other upgrades to the previous email exchange program used by MyHosting, namely Entourage 2008. For example, Outlook for Mac 2011 includes various useful collaboration tools, such as allowing users to easily share documents, calendars, and other files. The new Outlook for Mac also comes with a new view feature which lets people organize email messages in threads making it easier to keep all the parts of a longer conversation in one place.

Another important new feature that comes with the upgrade to Outlook for Mac 2001 is the ability to use PST tools. These tools allow users to consolidate all of their different email addresses under one account, which they can then easily access in Outlook. Also, older messages can thus be easily archived, which increases the security and accessibility of data. The new Outlook for Mac is also fully compatible with the Windows version of Outlook, meaning that users can now freely transfer emails between the Windows and Mac versions of it.

Also, the switch to the Mac version should not cause any problems to PC users, as the new client is very similar to Outlook 2010. But it will give Apple users a hosted email service that will allow them maximize their email messaging productivity.
